We were the first winery to dare to explore innovative blending of grape varieties from a single vineyard in the Maule Valley.
We have created unique wines with identity of origin, from a place with special characteristics that make it a different proposition.
OUR
VINEYARD
Between the Andes mountain ranges and the coast is the Maule Valley. It is the valley with the most planted hectares in the entire country. It has an ancient tradition of cultivation since colonial times.
We were the third vineyard in Chile to earn certification under the Chilean wine industry’s sustainability code. Understanding sustainability to be the convergence of environmentally friendly, socially equitable and economically viable production, the code divides the needs of the winemaking industry into three areas: green area (vineyards), red area (winery) and orange area (community).
A dry, very refreshing Brut. This is a pale straw-coloured sparkling wine with golden hues. The delicious nose opens with notes of fresh fruit, apples, quince and dried flowers, followed by complex aromas of dried fruit, honey and vanilla. A beautiful even perlage of bubbles dances continuously upwards from the centre of the glass.
On the nose are upfront aromas of red fruit like
strawberries and plums which intermingle with those of spices and
tobacco. The mouth evokes raspberries and plums with a long finish that
pair perfectly with red meat, charcuterie and lamb casserole. Never stop
being yourself, respecting your instinct and going your own way. Be
unique like this new addition to the flock of Oveja Negra.
On the nose are intense aromas of black fruit like blackberries
and blueberries intermingled with notes of fresh red fruit. The mouth
reveals smooth tannins and a lightly sweet sensation that together make
this a versatile wine, perfect for sipping on the terrace or pairing with
barbecued meat or a pasta dish with a strongly flavoured sauce. Never
stop being yourself, respecting your instinct and going your own way. Be
unique like this new addition to the flock of Oveja Negra.
